Exercise and PD
Exercise has neuroprotective effects for PWP. Exercise can help manage symptoms and may slow the progression of PD. The best exercise is the one you are committed to doing on a consistent basis. Dancing, boxing, pole walking, tai chi, and water aquatics all have their adherents. Most important is what YOU will do on a consistent basis.
Jeanine Yip and Bruce Belknap have compiled a comprehensive list of PD exercises and resources.
