We meet at the Monterey Museum of Art on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:30 to experience the "power of art in all its many forms" via facilitated tours and discussions.

  • ​Susie Fazlollahi from Abbie shared information about the newly approved treatment for Parkinsons's, Duopa. For Parkinson's patients who are experiencing "wearing off" of their carvadopa/levadopa medication, Duopa provides a continuous feed of meds during waking hours.
  • Clare and Lew will be leaving the group. We wish them well.
  • The possibility of starting a Parkinson's support group in Salinas with the help of Charmaine Eng from PPSG was discussed.

  • Jeanine Yip, DPT,NCS led a lively and informative session on the importance of exercise to restore vestibular balance and improve functioning and quality of life for PWP. She discussed the PWR! program, which she has been certified in. With the help of Bruce Belknap, a group boxing demo took place, Bruce also shared a short video about the benefits of boxing for PWP.​
